About
I'm a Japanese–English interpreter and project coordinator based in San Diego, California, helping organizations work effectively between Japan and the United States.
After spending about 20 years in Japan and the past 15 years in the United States, I've developed a deep understanding of both cultures, business practices, and communication styles. That perspective allows me to support clients beyond interpretation, whether it's coordinating projects, facilitating meetings, or serving as a trusted local point of contact.
My experience spans technology, robotics, telecommunications, defense, education, healthcare, food & beverage, entertainment, sports, and other industries. I've supported business meetings, executive visits, international trade shows, usability studies, and cross-border projects for companies, educational institutions, nonprofits, and government organizations.
To me, interpretation is about more than translating words. It's about understanding each client's goals, helping people communicate effectively, and keeping projects moving forward. My goal is to be the kind of local partner clients can rely on from planning to execution.
